I believe that Betsy Ross made the American flag because she was a great seamstress. I can tell that she was a brave and talented woman. Betsy was able to take the challenge by sewing the first American flag. By the time she was done sewing General Washington wished to see it.I believed that General Washington was surprised at what he saw. I also believe that Betsy Ross and General Washington became great friends. Betsy Ross was a amazing sewer and that is what I believe in about Betsy Ross being the one that made the American flag.
